This past winter I worked on a project shooting in San Francisco’s Chinatown. This work was all done in 35 mm, black and white film. I have just finished scanning and editing the images for the purposes of creating a book. Special limited editions of this book, which include a limited edition print, will be available at the book release party on Thursday, August 5 at Modernbook Gallery from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Modernbook Gallery is on the 4th Floor of 49 Geary St, San Francisco, CA 94108. Wine and refreshments will be served.

If you would like to see some of this work in person, I currently have a show of selected works from this series at Cafe Piazza in Palo Alto Square, Palo Alto, CA. The photographs will be on display through the end of June.

A smaller selection of images from this body of work was just honored with an Award of Excellence in the 4th Annual Mike Ivanitsky Award for Photographic Excellence.
